Accommodation
Hensol Castle is near Cardiff, where there are plenty of AirBnB options, but here are a few local recs.
The Vale Resort
Hensol Castle is on the grounds of the 4-star Vale Hotel.
We recommend you stay here - the hotel also provide shuttles at the end of the night to conveniently taxi you to your room. And who knows, you may run into a Welsh rugby player on your way...
£210/ night for a double room
Llanerch Vineyard
A vineyard in Wales?!
They are a 15 min walk to Hensol Castle and you can sample their Cariad wine (Cariad = darling in Welsh)
£200/ night for a double room
The Royal Hotel Cardiff
If you’d rather stay in the hustle and bustle of the big city, this hotel is very close to the train station.
Bear in mind it’s about a 30 minute drive to the venue.
£150/ night for a double room
Lanelay Hall Hotel & Spa
Another nearby option, which is only a 10 minute drive to the venue.
£180/ night for a double room
Travelling to Cardiff
Train
The easiest way to get to Cardiff!
Trains from London take two hours from Paddington Station.
For our Northern & Scottish friends, the train journey can take a while, but we haven’t found a better way!
Coach
Coaches from London take three to three and a half hours from Victoria Coach Station.
Plane
The two main airports nearby are Cardiff Airport (30 minute drive to the venue or to Cardiff) and Bristol Airport (90 minutes to Cardiff by coach & train).
To everyone flying in from afar - thank you and we look forward to partying with you soon!
Taxis
Please prebook to avoid being stranded at 1am!
We recommend Dragon Taxis
(now sadly re-branded as Veezu)
Uber also exists, but we doubt there will be many drivers around the venue at closing time.
